Imagine there is a bank that deposits $86,400 into your account every morning. Monday through Sunday, the same deposit is made: $86,400. The only catch is that you have to spend all of the money every single day. You can’t save it. You can’t transfer it into another account. You can’t roll it over to the next day. The only thing you can do is spend it. Any money that you don’t spend disappears the next day.

What would you do with the money? How would you spend it? Would you take your time and plan each dollar so that none of it goes to waste? Would you splurge? Would you give back? Would you make all of your dearest dreams come true?

The truth is, we are all given a similar type of account. It’s called time. Every day, we are given 86,400 seconds to spend. At the end of the day, the seconds are gone forever. We can’t save them up, and we can’t roll them over to the next day.

What will you do with your seconds? How will you spend your time? Will you waste it? Or will you do everything you can to make sure your dearest dreams come true?

Time is precious. And tomorrow is not promised. Take advantage of every second that you have been given, because life is truly a gift.

Have a great rest of the week!
